Dolphin AS represents the drilling contracting business segment of Fred. Olsen Energy ASA on the Norwegian side of the North Sea basin. Currently there are three 4th generation semisubmersibles drilling units in operation, Borgland Dolphin, Bideford Dolphin and Bredford Dolphin.
Dolphin AS performs it’s offshore operations in a safe and secure manner having a strong focus on Heath Safety and the Environment, (HSE). Dolphin AS is a leading drilling operator in the Norwegian oil and gas market, taking good of it’s employees with a sound safety philosophy aiming at a zero accident goal.
Dolphin AS works closely with its clients performing demanding operations delivering on time and within the required framework. This results in creating a binding trust with clients and also leads to new challenges, safety is never compromised.
As a part of our operations we continuously train our crews, not only in their safety and professional duties but in HSE, management. Dolphin AS has developed its own HSE courses with written exams, everyone working for Dolphin AS onshore and offshore on a Dolphin AS drilling unit must hold a current certificate.
